The Science Meeting: SKACH in Zurich

The Cosmology Group was delighted to co-organize and take part in the Science Meeting prior to the SKACH Consortium.

On Monday, March 17, members of the Cosmology Group participated in the "Science Meeting prior to the SKACH Consortium" in Zurich, an event co-organized by our group with SKACH, the Swiss Consortium of the Square Kilometre Array. Held in conjunction with the SKAO Council meeting, the event brought together representatives from SKACH and SKAO to showcase Swiss contributions to SKAO-related research, including the development of advanced scientific tools.

The meeting featured a full day of engaging talks and discussions on cosmology and radio astronomy, fostering collaboration and synergy between researchers in Switzerland and the broader SKAO community. It provided an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, explore partnerships, and showcase ongoing scientific activities in Switzerland.

Alexandre Refregier presented the latest updates on the Hydrogen Intensity and Real-time Analysis eXperiment (HIRAX), and Michele Bianco led a tutorial session on Radiative Transfer Simulation using the pyC2Ray code.

The Cosmology Group is pleased to contribute to SKACH activities and remains committed to advancing SKAO-related research, strengthening international scientific cooperation.
